The article is connected to the recognition of Alexander the Great as the head of the Corinthian League. In 338 BC Philip II deprived of their liberty most of the Greek city-states. However, after his death members of the league did not want the political supremacy of Macedonia in Hellas. Our task is to identify the main reason and ways of confronting the Greeks, as well as identify the methods that Alexander used to conrm his hegemony
