Since its inception, the Olympic Movement has been closely associated with culture and art. The increased attention of the International Olympic Committee, the increase in its cultural programs, their wider coverage makes the topic relevant and require further study. The conducted research allows us to assert that in the early 2000s, the International Olympic Committee moved from the implementation of separate cultural programs to the implementation of a holistic cultural policy. The results of the study expand knowledge about the cultural dimension of the activities of the International Olympic Committee at the present stage.
