The review article is devoted to the research of the evolution of the Sovereign Court in the Russian state in the last quarter of the 15th - 16th centuries. 'tte author analyses the main trends in the development of the Court, sources for its study, its composition, structure, land and material basis for its existing, as well as the transformation of the Court in the context of the internal policy of Moscow Grand Princes.
