The article examines the prospects for recognizing the results obtained within the
scientific paradigm of evidence-based linguistics in one area of linguistic research - the
attribution of texts of anonymous and pseudonymous literary works. The material
of the study is the verification of the attribution hypothesis about the belonging of
13 plays attributed to Moliere, the French poet Pierre Corneille. The author comes
to the conclusion that the recognition of evidentiary results in this field is impossible
without changing the corresponding national myth.
