They were able in a short time to equip the Chinese army with Soviet weapons, to train personnel in planning and conducting combat operations, and to produce engineering equipment of the area. But the activities of Soviet military advisers were interrupted after Japan's attack on pearl Harbor and the outbreak of war in the Pacific ocean, as well as the strengthening of us military intervention.
