The article is devoted to the history of student's movement in Cuba in the context of the social and political changes that were taking place on the island in 1898-1959. The system changes that began in Cuba and the growth of national self-consciousness led to the increase of student's activity. The article reveals the causes of student's concerns, the reaction to the protests of the Cuban authorities, and the consequences of student «rebellions».
