The article deals with the analysis of Colombia’s relations with some integrationist blocs in Latin America (Pacific Alliance and UNASUR, first of all) where this country was a key actor o still is playing significant role. The author not only has researched thoroughly these relations between Bogota and integrationist groups, but also is connecting this analysis with the historic context of formation and evolution of Colombia’s foreign policy. The interaction between the contemporary characteristics of Colombia’s foreign policy and its basic principles throughout some decades.
