The article deals with the transformation of the musical leitmotif «The Ezio Family» in the series of computer games Assassin's creed. Becoming a hallmark of the franchise, The Ezio Family has been constantly reworked by various composers in new games of the series, becoming a source of inspiration for the synthesis of authentic music and the sound of instruments from different historical periods and a sci-fi line about the technologies of the past and the future, conveyed by modern instruments. The authors talk about the need for a deeper study of modern means of musical expression within the framework of Ludomusicology.
