The article considers reception of Plato by the Russian thinkers from «Kruzhok liubomudrov» (the circle of the philosophers) which existed in Moskow in 1820-s. The author studies by the example of Vladimir Odoevskiy and Dmitriy Venevitinov how the Platonism influenced on the forming of Russian philosophical culture. Platonism of «liubomudrov» is analyzed in the context of their idea of poetical thinking that unite aestetic perception and philosophical reflexion.
