The article is devoted to the history of the development of the Leningrad school of applied graphics in the period 1960-1980s. The socio-cultural context and conditions in which new principles and artistic tasks were formed in the graphic design of this period are considered. The genre diversity of applied graphics is shown, the creativity of leading masters who have worked in this field of art is noted.
