The article analyzes how modern computer games affect the formation of consciousness and the value system of modern adolescents. The educational text of modern games is traced. The game No Man's Sky is taken as a specific case for research. The gameplay is traced, the key elements of the game's plot are recorded. The authors pay special attention to the player's inner experiences. As a result, the authors conclude about how modern games affect the value system of people - representatives of gaming culture.
