This study focuses on the issue of Polish-Russian relations in the parliamentary elections in Poland in October 2019. The author hypothesizes that there are different points of view in Polish society on the future interaction between the Republic of Poland and the Russian Federation, which should be reflected in the electoral struggle of various political forces. In order to prove it, we analyzed the programs of the main Polish parties, the statements of the main party figures, as well as media publications that covered discussions about Russian-Polish relations before the elections. As a result of the study, it was revealed that in the presence of the official concept of the ruling national conservative party “Law and justice” about the Russian threat to the Polish state which dominates among the poles, there are also opinions about the possibility of strengthening interaction between countries, whose popularity is also considerable.
