The article deals with the results of the special economic zones in the Russian Federation. The problems of development of zones are also studied and investment advantages and disadvantages of economic zones in Russia are highlighted. The author also considers the legislative basis for the creation of special economic zones. The article analyzes the rating of investment attractiveness of Russian special economic zones.
