This article is devoted to the analysis of the legislative source in the Russian Empire at the beginning of the XX century - Criminal Code of 1903. This article is intended to characterize its main provisions regarding crimes against faith. Despite the fact that during the events of 1905, religious freedom was established, the Russian authorities were reluctant to reduce the dominant role of the Orthodox Church, which was reflected in the norms of the Criminal Code of 1903.
