The article deals with the beginning of the Russian campaign against terrorism in Syria that took place after the request of Syrian President Bashar Assad. This foreign policy move caused a huge informational wave in the media of many countries including Italy. The article describes the pluralism of stances that some Italian media took on this issue and analyses the possible roots of such diversity of the interpretations of the same event.
