THE IMAGES OF EARLY LITHUANIA - SOME PROBLEMS OF REFLECTION IN MEDIEVAL SLAVONIC LITERATURE (BEFORE THE 17TH CENTURY)
Translated title of the contributionThe early Lithuanian-Russian History is very complex for a comprehension and the images of Lithuania are vague and obscure. The reasons of this phenomenon are conditioned by two circumstances. Firstly - by a peculiarity of ancient annalistic manner and then by an influence of some political interests - may be the greatest damage for the objectivity knowledge of history and cultural problems.
