The article describes the basic shamanistic organizations in Barguzin and Kurumkan districts of the Republic of Buryatia. The structure of the organizations, their composition, functioning, existence in nowadays reality, and legal status are analysed in the present paper. Besides, the author discovers and systematizes the basic shamanistic religious rites, describes the most important sacral places, their hierarchy and distinctions between one another. The important issues are the descriptive characterization of a modern shaman, the rites ratio in the scope of new phenomenon of shamanistic organizations, and the involvement of the population into it. Separately there is a problem of mutual influence of buddhism and shamanism. The theoretical conceptions and the causes of such innovations are analysed.
