The author analyzes the image of Russia and the periods of its formation in Albanian lands during 20th — 21st centuries and the distributions of Russian language among Albanians. The author uses his fi eldwork materials completed from 1990 till nowadays in different Balkan countries with Albanian population: Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, and Montenegro. The study aims at illuminating imagological representations about Russia and Russians, and attitude to Russian language among Albanians.
