Publication of A.O. Yeshchenko includes the letters from Antoine de Lafor t, the French ambassador to the king of Spain Joseph-Napol on Bonaparte, and the Russian charg d’affaires at Spain P.O. Morenheim to the prince N.G. Repnin-Volkonsky, dated from 1811. The letters highlight the range of problems afflicting the Royal Government immediately before the ruin of the Napoleon’s empire. The documents are revealed in the Russian State Historical Archive.
