The article discusses the traditions of inter-ethnic dialogue of Caucasian peoples and the methods of their revival in the contemporary world. Ethnic conflicts in Russia became one of the key problems today: on the one hand, conflicts are questioning the selected political course on the coexistence of different ethnic groups on a single site; on the other hand, ethnic tension only confirms the denial of peoples from their traditions. One of these traditions warned numerous military clashes and strengthen trade relations, was conacaste. The authors explore the historical background of conacaste, the tradition of conacaste as a form of interethnic accommodation, forms of conacaste, and how to revive conacaste today.
