The article is a review of the round table “The Role of Strategic Communication in the Context of Rising Confrontation in the International Arena”. The participants of the event held on December 25, 2018 at the Institute of Law and National Security of RANEPA, covered in their papers a wide range of issues - from Russian segment of the Internet development to the legal aspects of information and psychological security. The representatives of the Presidium and Institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg State University, Moscow higher education institutions and public organizations took part at this academic event.
