The article is devoted to the problems of improving university management in the context of digitalization. The methodological foundations of the selection of criteria and indicators for assessing the quality of the university management system are determined. The experience of leading universities in the USA and the Russian Federation in improving management is analyzed. The authors propose a model of quantitative and qualitative indicators for assessing the quality of the management system at the university.
