Under the influence of the vital necessity, Romantics, long before psychological trauma was considered a disease and Z. Freud made his discoveries, tried to understand and describe in their works, diaries, letters the influence of personal and collective trauma on an individual, its manifestations, and find ways for overcoming it. Their achievements and the practicаl means used are illustrated through some examples of the attempts of the first generation of English Romantics (W. Wordsworth, S.T.Coleridge, R.Southey) to prevent and rehabilitate trauma in children.
