The article discusses the evolution of views on the activities of the «Finnish people’s government» in the historiography of Finland. Attention is paid to the assessment of this activity as the realization of the idea of «exporting revolution» from the USSR. It also provides an analysis of the thesis of the Finnish Communists on the continuation of the 1918 revolution and the struggle against the «counter-revolution». In general, a review of the Finnish literature on issues related to the history of the «Terijoki Government» indicates that this topic is still at the stage of its active reflection.
