The purpose of the work is to establish the basic laws of the formation of the hydrochemical background for the development of standards of acceptable impact on theraised bogs. Research methods - physical and chemical analysis, water balance calculations, statistical processing of analytical data.Thehydrochemical background of raised bogs is established on materials of generalization ofhydrochemical data of the typical and most studied bogs of the Leningrad (Lammin-Suo swamp), Arkhangelsk (Ilasskoe swamp) and Tomsk (Vasyugan swamp) regions. The spatial and seasonal variability of the main ingredients of chemical composition (main ions, biogenic elements, organic matter, heavymetals) of marsh waters was investigated. The hydrochemical background is calculated on the combined samples mean annual values of concentrations of all investigated raised bogs. It isacceptablein view of the absence of statistically significant differences between intra-annual hydrochemical indicators of oligotrophic microlandscapes of raised bogs. For the purpose to preserve oligotrophic nutrient status of raised bogs approximately allowable concentration (AAC) of chemicals indischarged of sewage are developed. On the basis of water-balance calculations, a simplified definition of the permissible mass of the introduction of chemicals ofsewagedischargedwas performed.Significant differences in the values of the standardspermissible impact (SPI)on the base of generally accepted limit permissible concentrations (LPC) of the approximately allowable concentration (AAC) were revealed. SPI calculated by AAC for the main ions, total mineralization, nitrates- in 5 timeslower, and for, organic substances, ammonium, total iron - in 5-10 - 50 timesmore than calculated by LPC. Thus, the use of more flexible criteria for the concentrations of discharged pollutants allows both to minimize the degree of anthropogenic disturbances of raised bogs, and significantly reduce the cost of wastewater treatment from a number of chemicals substances of the bogs natural background.
