The paper deals with a text in Timok patoi from Eastern Serbia, presenting oral speech production of a female informant born in 1908 in the village of Petruša. The research question is as follows: what is the degree of the dialect coherence of the text, taking into account the parameters of its microvariation. The features of the “base” Timok patoi (in German - Grundmundart) were analyzed at all levels of the language structure and contrasted to the non-Timok features of other dialects of Serbian, including the Standard Serbian. Some neutral features, which don’t build any dialectal opposition, were also taken into account.
