This article examines the changing interests of Russia in climate change agreements since the signing of the Kyoto Protocol to the present, Russia's current ambitions within the UNFCCC3 and prospects for their implementation, as well as some institutional problems of national climate policy. Special attention is paid to Russia's ambitions under the current Paris agreement.
