Medical and philosophical discourse of Slovakia and Russia are defined by the specifics of the profession and constant thoughts on Fate and meaning of a human life in this world. Faced with the front line when is the battle of good and evil doctor willing-unwilling becomes a philosopher who asks 263 himself uncomfortable questions about the meaning of his medical efforts, the importance of the medical profession in society, the need of following the path of virtue and humanism. The formulation of philosophical questions is common for all doctors in the world but the answers will be different. What forms them, why do highly busy clinicians want to commit their thoughts and feelings on paper, why do they choose a particular genre for their stories, all this we will try to describe in this article.
