The purpose of the article is to consider the indigenization of sociological science as a component of national culture. In this regard, the main key ideas of indigenization are established, such as the embeddedness of knowledge in the social fabric of society, the socio-cultural, economic and political specifics of sociological knowledge in each of the considered cases, in particular, in Korea, Japan and Taiwan.
