The article considers the situation when the indefinite position of leaders and officials on political issues concerning neighboring states does not allow the media of the Republic of Belarus to voice its position. At the same time, modern media of the Republic of Belarus are ready for this. For this there are all possibilities, but the state's position on mistakes that can be made by journalists when covering international issues is not visible. There is an impression that the interests of the Republic of Belarus vary depending on the conjectural considerations, persons in the government of the Republic of Belarus. In this mode, the media of the Republic of Belarus is unlikely to be able to enter the international information market, since it represents the interests of the political elites of the Republic of Belarus, and not the citizens of this republic. The world is not only a relationship with neighbors.
