the article analyzes current problems of protecting the right to privacy and family life of women and children. Women and children are vulnerable people whose protection deserves attention. Unfortunately, despite the existence of numerous international and regional conventions, protection of the privacy of women and children remains weak, especially in the age of social media. Several countries around the world are looking to strengthen their legislation on children's social media activities, and the purpose of this article is to understand the extent to which these laws do not violate international standards, but also how they can serve as an example in the Russian Federation. This article also provides for a special study on the relationship between the right to privacy and the fundamental rights recognized for women.
