In the context of improving the quality of dissertation research in pedagogy the article considers possible variants of designing the content of passports of scientific specialities in pedagogical Sciences, stresses the need for justification of the nomenclature of scientific specialities in accordance with the relevant tasks of development of pedagogical science and educational practice.
