The measurements of intraocular pressure by Goldmann and Maklakov (weight 10 g) applanation tonometers before and after refractive surgery are modeled in the software package ANSYS. The cornea is considered as multilayer structure. The intraocular pressure readings obtained by Goldmann and Maklakov tonometers after refractive surgeries LASIK and PRK are compared. The cornea and sclera are modeled as transversely-isotropic conjectured spherical shells with different biomechanical properties. The cornea is splitted into several layers of different thickness and elastic properties.
