The North-West region is one of the most favorable regions for tuberculosis (TB) in the Russian Federation, where epidemic situation is monitored regularly thanks to supervision and close interaction of service staff. Since 2014, thanks to the introduction of new technologies, approaches to identifying and diagnosing TB in children were changed. Objective of the research: analysis of changes in TB epidemiological situation in recent years and efficacy of these technologies introduction. Materials and methods: researchers performed an analysis of TB incidence dynamics and introduction of new methods of immunodiagnostics (Diaskintest) and computed tomography (CT) in 11 territories of the North-West region of the Russian Federation for the period from 2015 to 2017. Results: In general, in recent years in the North-West Federal District (NWFD) there was a significant improvement in TB incidence in children and adolescents. However, territorial differences in the epidemic situation may be associated with different
