This article investigates the influence of a stable type of emotional response, a dominant emotional state and personal anxiety on the success of involuntary memorization of emotionally colored stimuli material. For this, a text was created the upper part of which was mostly negative, and the lower positive emotional coloring. This given characteristic of the stimulus text was confirmed by an expert assessment procedure. The success of his involuntary memorization was studied through direct and delayed written reproduction, the need for which the subjects were not warned in advance. Each stage of the study was accompanied by a diagnosis of the current state through the SAN technique and the situational anxiety scale of the Ch. D. Spilberger method of anxiety research. According to the results of the study and correlation analysis of the data set, it was found that personal anxiety is associated with greater success in the delayed reproduction of negative text words.
