Various approaches to understanding the relationship between theoretical concepts of law and various social theories are studied. Research methods include components of socio-philosophical, historical-logical, political science, and comparative legal analysis. The research is based on published works and articles of domestic and foreign authors of the second half of the XIX - XX centuries. The historical roots of the dialectical connection between the theories of law and social existence are considered. Turning to the theoretical legacy of the past will help solve many problems of modern law enforcement.
