This article presents the ideas of the German philosopher Wolfgang Welsh in his book «Unsere postmoderne Moderne» («Our postmodern modern»), published more than thirty years ago and has undergone many reprints in different countries of the world. The book provides an overview of postmodern views, argues their assessment, differentiation and systematization. The succession of philosophical pluralism is traced. The main provisions of the theory of transversality are highlighted.
