This article examines linguocultural concept «beauty» as mental unit represented in the folk tale language and illustrating national and cultural specificity. The authors offer a comparative analysis of the beauty concept (focusing on one of its macroblocks) illustrated by examples from Russian and Chinese fairy tales.
