It is suggested in the article to conceptualize a new problem connected to the search for the limits of legal interpretation and application to social relationships connected with virtual, imaginary, non-serious or other similar phenomena. This problem is considered as a universal one and the one related to the issues of legal interpretation and application, correlation between absurdity and common sense in jurisprudence. The solution of the problem is seen in application of the concept of generalized symbolic media from theoretic sociology to the object of the disputable social relationships.
