In the context of this article, the author carried out historiosophic research on finding the beginnings of Autocracy in the original social structure of the Slavic tribes and the processes associated with the development of the institution of princely power in the Kievan Rus XI-XII centuries. The question of explaining the roots of the formation of Russia as a result of conciliar creation of people and the one power is one of the central traditions in Russian historico-philosophical thought. The author has considered it from the point of view of S. K. Aksakov which in one way or another was shared by other thinkers, including Tikhomirov, Kavelin, and Klyuchevsky. The author reveals that for the Slavophile tradition it was important to represent the process of the formation of the Russian state and the Autocracy as the result of a consciously chosen way by the Land (the Commоns) to overcome the “civil conflict” and the vector of civilizational development. Appealing to the writings of Eurasianism experts allows him to argue that the active transformative activity of people, consistent with natural conditions, results in a political “lifestyle”, which is only a manifestation of this creativity. The first part of the work is dedicated to the analysis of the reasons that allowed the princely power to acquire sacred authority for society, as well as the weaknesses of Kievan Rus', which led to its decay. The second part reveals the significance of the annalistic images and deeds of such princes as Vladimir the Great, Jaroslav the Wise, and Vladimir Monomakh for the awareness of the necessity of the Autocracy and the personal evolution of those leaders. In particular, the author paid special attention to developing the idea of the burden of the Supreme Ruler in Russia to overcome the conflicts within our society. During his reflection, he concludes that the history of the establishment of the Russian Autocracy and the state had to be seen as a progressive collective creative movement of the authorities and the people to search for ways out of the turmoil for the keeping of the peace and the future formation of a healthy society, with its own foundations and traditions.
