The article is devoted to the consideration of the concept of "conflict" as an important component of the modern process of professionally- oriented training. Teaching a professionally-oriented foreign language using conflict as a basis can become a priority and popular direction in the modern world. The theoretical significance of the article is due to the clarification of the concept of"conflict", for its use in teaching a foreign language. Practical significance can be called the identification of the features of the use of conflict in the process of professionally-oriented training.
