One of the most important means for social rehabilitation of persons with disabilities is motor recreation, which occupies an important place in the structure of modern physical culture. The purpose of this study is to improve the process of social rehabilitation of children with disabilities. As part of it on the basis of a specialized rehabilitation center and an inclusive class of a general education school, questioning, interviews with the subjects of the social-rehabilitation process, their parents were conducted. It has shown special value of joint carrying out recreational activities with healthy children. Differences in preferences for types of motor recreation depended to a greater extent on the nature of restrictions: varying forms of recreational activities, the magnitude and nature of physical activity, the rules of movement games, facilitation of recreational motor activity. Insufficient awareness of children with disabilities and their parents in the content and understanding of the potential benefits of motor recreation for the rehabilitation process was revealed.
