A problem of 3D-theory of elasticity on the deformation of transversely isotropic spherical layer under the internal pressure is considered. This problem is developed for the prediction of the intraocular pressure increase after intravitreal injections in the eye. Dependence of internal pressure change in the closed shell cavity on the introduced additional volume of incompressible liquid is obtained. Change of the layer thickness is calculated as a function of the internal pressure.
