Several microextraction methods for separation of pharmaceutical substances have been proposed. Flow system set-ups
for liquid-phase microextraction of ofloxacin and sulfonamides from liquid dosage forms into fatty and di- (2-ethylhexyl)-
phosphoric acids and their subsequent chromatographic determination were developed. An efficient approach for
microextraction of fluoroquinolones from suspended pharmaceutical samples using membranes impregnated with switchablehydrophilicity solvents was proposed. The procedure for diclofenac derivatization in the presence of potassium ferricyanide in
an alkaline medium were optimized and further applied for its extraction-spectrophotometric determination in pharmaceutical
preparations.
