Aldous Huxley.s negative assessment of behaviorism seems undisputable, as one can judge by his numerous critical remarks in both fiction and non-fiction, including «Brave New World». However, rapt reading of his late writing gives us a new, revised view on the issue. For example, rereading of Huxley.s last utopia «Island» reveals the influence of B. F. Skinner.s «Walden Two».
