The article dedicated to the research of influence philosophical concepts of rule of law and law supremacy (as basis of legal statehood) on the Constitution of the Russian Federation. The ideas of the rule of law are known from Antiquity till nowadays. Its integration to legal space ОБРАЗОВАНИЕ И ПРАВО № 2 • 2019 of modern Russia is especially relevant lately after the adoption of the Constitution in 1993, which secures that Russia is a legal state. This implies the importance of searching approaches to solving issues arising from the need to secure principle of rule of law. Theoretical and practical importance of recent research due to the need to solve complex tasks to ensure the rule of law as fundamental principle in legal system of modern Russia
