This article examines how the application of the rules of exclusion of evidence can affect the observance of human rights in Chinese criminal procedure. Research on this topic is relevant: it allows us to determine how effective are the rules of evidence exclusion in the fight against human rights violations, which are common in China. The author concludes that while evidence is rarely excluded in China, the situation may change over time.
