Th e article describes and compares the corpus of anthroponyms in the solemn odes by M. V. Lomonosov and V. P. Petrov. Th e ancient mythological names, biblical names, names of the Christian God, names associated with Islam, historical names are highlighted. Comparison of the anthroponymic thesaurus in the odes made it possible to present a new material indicating the formula
dependence of Petrov’s odes from Lomonosov’s ones.
