The purpose of the study is to develop and test a questionnaire assessing the subjective need for body changes among female athletes. According to the results of mathematical processing, the questionnaire structure includes scales for 'Subjective Need for Body Change', 'Experience of Negative Evaluations from Peers', and 'Body Correction and Measurement Control'. Research methods and organization. The study sample consisted of 197 female athletes from technical-aesthetic sports, with an average age of 19.8 years. The psychodiagnostic battery included a questionnaire on the subjective need for body change, BISS, BIQLI, and RSES. Research results and conclusions. Low body image satisfaction among female athletes in technical-aesthetic sports is correlated with experiences of negative evaluations of their appearance and body from peers, as well as with a decrease in self-esteem. The results of the piloting confirmed the mathematical justification of the proposed questionnaire structure, its validity, internal consistency, and reliability.
