The article provides an analysis of the story of Vladimir Sorokin “Avaron” and sets its cultural intertext.The authors appeal to two important pretexts - to the novel of M. Bulgakov “The Master and Margarita” and to the tractate of Nietzsche “Thus spoke Zarathustra”.The analysis uses comparative and intertextual approaches.
